Kuranda is the tropical tourist town nestled at the top of the Great Dividing Range, just above Cairns, the capital of  Far North Queensland.  World renowned for the train trip to reach it through the Barron Gorge, the tropical gardens at the railway station, the Skyrail cable car across the top of the World Heritage rainforest, butterfly, bird and animal parks, marketsshopping and eating experiences.
